Because they are portable consoles haha.  All the systems are consoles, just some are handheld/portable consoles and the others are home consoles.  Consoles nonetheless.  Guess we shouldn't even make the distinction between systems and consoles as it means essentially the same thing.  

Yeah, just say handhelds vs. home consoles, slight change in wording but the thing that everyone really means when they say this makes more sense.
