The ads are on TV. I believe Sony has sponsored a couple of film channels in UK for the entire year, so during films there will be Sony ads alongside a 'sponsored by' message.
Seems Sony have decided to increase their UK focus for marketing. I've always (and I mean going back to PS2) found Sony to be very inconsistent with marketing in the UK, but this seems a more focused campaign.
Right now it's LBP ads, but later I think it'll be different games so probably Killzone 3 soon, etc. With the LBP ads I believe they were made for the film in question being shown. I haven't seen any myself but my wife spotted the Dirty Dancing one while watching - what else - Dirty Dancing.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
