No proof of this but I would suspect PS1 and Sega Genesis will be less USA focused as the old Nintendo consoles.... Sony is and was a much wider reaching company and was able to push gaming into countries that previously had to import (even more so with PS2) while I believe the Genesis was launched in South America too.

So while the current estimate for USA vs. Americas is about 0.87... back for the NES for all I know it might have only been shipped to USA by Nintendo, and only able to leak into Canadian retail, probably 0.95 of Americas NES sales were USA.
