If they disable PS3s completely there'll be media shistorm and insane amount of law suits. You can probably quote me on that. Disabling online is fine however, if it does state in the T&C of PSN that if any of the terms are broken then the user can lose access to PSN.

Heh, it's not my problem, but I sure would laugh my ass off at the people who got hit with it...unless all they were doing is trying to run Linux or some other legal activity.  You forget how the EULA is worded for Sony when you buy a PS3.  You should read that stuff more often.  The court may eventually acquit, but the question is, can a small group of hackers, or just 1 person afford that much in court fees to begin with?
