A few MB? The ROM is probably like 128K.

A few MB, yes. While NES games were at best half an MB big, the downloads from the Virtual Console servers are much bigger than that for whatever reason. They are usually around 3 MB.


Wow. I have no idea way. Perhaps there is some encryption involved.

Regardless, I'm glad I have a 2GB SD card, and haven't downloaded that many games anyway.
