I understand all that but without the internet piracy would be an afterthought. I just feel that if what you do can lead to people losing alot of money why do it and if you do you really dont care. but aye some people dont wanna pay for stuff.

No it wouldn't as piracy has always existed. There is still a blackmarket of physical media. All starting back with Tape cassettes and VHS. Its was so easy to record a TV show onto a blank VHS, copy a VHS tape to another, copy music from the radio, copy music from cassette to cassette.
Piracy, theft, its human nature.

I was refering to gaming.

Still the same. There are dozens of illegal SNES cartridges everywhere. Even without the internet, which actually benefits police in finding people who make illegal copies and sells them, people would just make copies of the games and sell them at flea-markets like the old days.
|
snes? i mean know and back then it was different those illegal catridges were actually being sold werent they. anyway in this time period no one would pirate nearly as much if the internet was gone. I mean the hackers do it for free because of the luxary of the internet without that they would need to charge people for deliveries and such which wouldnt be wirth the effort. how exactly would they get it to all those people without the net?

SD cards with DS titles on them, DVD-DLs with 360 titles, Blu-rays with PS3 titles, etc. All at flea-markets. Do you really need to ask how a blackmarket for these sorts of things would get to a wide number of people? seriously heroin gets to tons of people on the black market doesn't it? So what would be the difference for any soft of media that people want copies of without paying the insane prices of retail?
|
lol heroin its different its a street product period no one is really selling it online to begin with. but okay so what your saying is that people will pay to buy these things at flea markets....which are in a huge decline. well firstly they would have to play the people at the flea market to mod their systems and then pay them for the software lol sounds like their buying games to me. sure its cheaper but with the internet you could do that stuff your self or learn to. Also those retail prices arent insane people are just cheap. but yea okay lol.
