I think you just proved the OP.  If a console has good specs and crappy sales guess what, the console manufacturer will go bankrupt.  If you enjoy something you should care about sales becuase if something doesn't sell, the company behind it fails.  Crappy logic.

I didn't say that.  Notice that I didn't even say Sony in my reply.  I was making a point that if you like something you should care about its sales, because if it doesn't sell it will not be supported in the future.  Don't try to put words in my mouth and way to miss the point of my post.

no, the company should care about sales, thats none of my buisness. Sony is a multi-billion international company that is making ,oney, so there is no need to care about theri financial state. Its not like they will go bankrupt tomorrow.Going by your logic, no one should have owned PS3 back in 2006-07- I, as a customer, care alot more  about the product's specs im buying than its sales. MAybe thats just me, but thats the way it is.
