Japan - Nintendo adds two more Wii titles to budget lineup

Why did you think they gave up? They already had 2 budget games scheduled for February as well (Samurai Warriors 3 and Momotaru Densetsu 2010)

In fairness, PS3 and 360 get like ten times the games released in their budget lineups.  I don't think Nintendo's filling space so much as just giving some core titles another chance to sell, I mean there were plenty of empty weeks before this last year didn't get budget games.
