Maybe SONY should have just left Linux in the PS3. You do know that Team0verflow stated that the scene did not attempt to break open the PS3 because homebrew was available from the start right?

This is what I said was going to happen the moment it was removed. I said it on this very site and many thought I was BSing.

 

The scene is mainly about homebrew, not piracy. It is just a negative side effect that unfortunately follows.

I never saw this claim be made before, but if you predicted it, I have to hand it to you! I've said many times since though, Sony is the cause of their own suffering right now.

I did not make a thread when I claimed that the scene will now have incentive to hack into the PS3, I said it within a thread about Linux removal.

I am trying to find it.
