KZ3 pre-orders are poor though. Especially considering the MASSIVE budget that the Killzone series has had so far. KZ2 only sold 2.5 million copies which to be honest was a huge dissapointment, Sony certainly expected better than that. And KZ3 might even underperform the second game which would be horrible. For a big marque exclusive game Killzone's sales are poor even when compared to other PS3 exclusive games. KZ2 was outsold by Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, both Uncharteds , LittleBigPlanet, Resistance, Motorstorm, and God of War 3. In essence if KZ3 doesn't significantly outsell the second game I don't know how much support a 4th game in the franchise would recieve. I'm thinking the game has to sell at least 3 million to be seen as a true success given the budget of the franchise and the highly competitve FPS market. |
LOL?a lot of 360 hyped exclusive sold less than that and you guys are happy with its sales why does KZ2 selling 2.5m all of a sudden disappointing? conviction and ME for example.
