I fail to see the point of criticizing Nintendo fans for doing this kind of stuff when others do it just as much, if not more.

On topic, this is genius in terms of getting people to take their handhelds everywhere and play together, which Nintendo always tries to do with their handhelds. 3DS may finally manage to make a video game console every man's constant companion.

Give me an example of that happening in this thread. I can give you my example if you want. I never hated on nintendo for anything btw. Because I don't have a wii to hate on, since I haven't experienced it.

It's not happening in this thread, but as I stated in my second sentence, it's rather pointless to criticize Nintendo fans for it if everyone does it in general.

I can see that I took too much of a fanboyish damage control-ish stance though. Sorry for that - it's my job, ;).
