I fail to see the point of criticizing Nintendo fans for doing this kind of stuff when others do it just as much, if not more.

On topic, this is genius in terms of getting people to take their handhelds everywhere and play together, which Nintendo always tries to do with their handhelds. 3DS may finally manage to make a video game console every man's constant companion.

Yeah like when Nintendo made the Wii-mote it was a gimmick and stupid but when MS and Sony does it, it is cool and the future :P
