Why do people keep saying this. Gears of War 2 sold OVER THREE TIMES as much as Killzone 2 in America. And Gears was slated as an April release.

Yeah but Gears 3 is releasing in the 2011 holidays while Killzone 3 is releasing in 7 weeks I just thought it would do better as it's release date came closer and it does have hype as well. Plus Killzone isn't exactly a small franchise I'm not expecting it to do 5 million plus I'm just surprised a game that is a little under a year away has more pre orders than a game that has 7 weeks left until release and has some pretty big hype from it's fans. Yeah I know it's Gears but still it's not like we are comparing Gears to Bullestrom a new IP Killzone is pretty well established franchise by now.
