The battle system is really cool, the music is an awesome mix of piano solos and prog rock, and the story is kind of vague and open-ended which is a pretty nice change of pace from the usual JRPG method of beating you over the head with the bleedingly fucking obvious. Cool. It's a very neat and unique JRPG. My only real complaint is that you can customize your guns, but there is really only one "right" way to build them: maximize charge speed and acceleration at the expensive of everything else. All the other attributes are pretty worthless.
