I was pretty close with my year predictions for 2010.

For 2011 i think it is a lot harder to predict what will happen. The 360 will be going into it's 3rd year without a proper price cut. The PS3 was going into 2010 with a recent price cut so 2011 numbers will be compeating with those yoy figures. And Wii for quite a lot of months in 10 was down yoy a lot. I expect all three to drop prices this year, especially MS. The question is for each of them how much will the cuts be. With Sony saying they have only recently started making profit on each PS3 sold i can't see them wanting to go back to making a loss so would imagine the cut to be $50 max. MS obviously have been making a shead load of profit as a company so have a lot more options. It boils down to if they want to stay above the PS3 or if they want to make money. So i think MS will drop price a bit more aggresively then Sony. Which will help it maintain its sales in US but in Europe it is harder to say. In that region (other then UK) Sony is doing very well now. A PS3 price cut there will keep it above 360 you would think.

So for PS3 i think

Americas - 5m     Japan - 1.2m      EMEAA - 8m  = 14.2m      So slightly down yoy but up yoy in EMEAA

360

Americas - 9.5m     Japan  - 200k    EMEAA - 4.7m = 14.4m  Slightly up yoy but down yoy in EMEAA & Japan

Wii

Americas - 8m   Japan  - 1.3m   EMEAA - 8.5m  = 17.8m   So down yoy by about 1.5m.

I think 360 will sell the most in US this year, PS3 and Wii will be almost tied in Japan and EMEAA but PS3 will have increased a lot in EMEAA while Wii and 360 will have declined there.
