This is your answer. If Nintendo back off 3rd parties sell games initially and therefor with profits will start work on the next 1 or 3 games. for the system.
If Nintendo released all theri good games. People would only buy them 3rd party would totally fail. Support would stop and Nintendo would be in the situation Wii is in atm. Long droughts of no good software (well games that I am into).
