The company behind Kinect's technology actually went to Nintendo first, and they declined it. No doubt Nintendo has something else in works, possibly biofeedback based like the Vitality Sensor indicated, but I don't think we'll see it until Wii 2. They can ride Wii out as is imo.
Wii 2 might come with a camera too though, Nintendo seems pretty interested in AR gaming going by 3DS...
