So you think the fact that the 360 is enjoying its best holiday ever is a total coincidence which has little to nothing to do with Kinect? December YoY sales are up by something like 75% for a console which has been around for five full years already! Halo Reach is not responsible for that.

I agree with the general consensus of the thread. After two years of pushing the envelope, Nintendo got cold feet, failed to follow through, and started to focus on core and retro gamers. Microsoft has seized the opportunity and executed really well to scoop up some of its own expanded audience. Now we'll see if  Microsoft has the skill and the fortitude to follow through.
