I find it beyond strange that people have claimed Kinect isn't pushing hardware when there is absolute proof it has in a MASSIVE way.
The 360 was pretty much down YOY the entire year up until the redesign which boosted it then began to drop off again, then once Kinect hit the system has been up by well over 100% YOY every single week. Also take into account its added millions in software sales and the 360 saw 2 weeks over 1 million in a row when it hadn't seen one ever before. Also MS has stated that this was the biggest holiday in the entire Xbox brand history. All of this mind you in only 60 days.
But your right Kinect isn't pushing hardware......
