Not trying to derail the topic, but I don't quite understand your logic. Is it that hard to keep one hand on a keyboard and the other hand on a mouse? It keeps your hands just as busy as they would be with a gamepad...in fact it's generally less complicated, as you're almost always pressing W,A,S,D for moving, along with various keys for jumping, reloading, etc. Your left hand never has to move, and your right hand's always on the mouse.
Anyway, just trying to say why I like PC shooters better hehe.
As for my favorite console shooters, it'd have to be Metroid and Halo.
