Not so much... Microsoft said Xbox 360 sold (aka shipped) over 50 million... so VGC data is on spot now.... over 50 million.

Well it clearly depends how much over 50m they are talking about... I doubt VGC is much off, but I expect we will see an upward adjustment for the 360 by late January.  The NPD thread will be a monster this month.

Kinect sales to existing owners?  Have you been paying attention the last few weeks?... you do know the 360 sold 1m for 2 weeks straight right?  I'm pretty sure a lot of new adopters are down to Kinect, and so it will continue through 2011.

 

I meam the difference... VGC undertracked Kinect but not 360... so the 1-2 million under here was just for Kinect and not for 360.... so maybe these case sold to existing users.

You don't know how much they've shipped yet .. if it's 52 mill shipped then we're likely spot on. 53 million or higher and it starts getting etchy.

If 52m ou 53m Microsoft would have said "more than 52m" or "over 53m".

This is fairly simple... so Microsoft shipped between 50,000,001 and  50,999,999.

Not nessaccerily, even source said in the article they said 50 mill plus for effect. I doubt they had their biggest ever holiday by only 500k more.
