I never understood why 3rd parties much rather support the PSP than the Wii, especially in the West.
There is always an excuse not to support Nintendo. Except for the NES I guess they had no choice. But SNES they claimed that it was kiddy, Nintendo's policy agianst blood or something like that, I heard stuff about the clock speed and such. But the SNES was in general terms superior hardware than the Genesis.
With the N64, the complaint was about the CD vs ROMs, somewhat understandable at first but, the CD just allowed for short movies and cutscenes that were mistakenly though to be the actual graphics of the game. If you see games from Rare and Factor 5, they were vastly superior than PS1 ans Saturn games technically speaking.
The GC was the same fake excuses. The smaller discs was the only thing 'cause GC was technically superior than the PS2.
