And predicting a lifetime sale just guessing what might happen, isn't stupid at all. 

Doing something stupid just means your doing something with not intelligent reasoning behind it. Trying to guess the number of something that will be sold is impossible considering the number of variables it has. Which in my opinion makes it stupid. And iv said its my opinion its stupid so your argument is invalid against me ;)

Here, I bolded the important part here for you.  IT IS A GUESS!.  They aren't saying that these are the figures it is going to be, but what they think it might be.  The fact that there are so many variables means that the only thing they can do is guess.

There are TONS of prediction threads on this site.  People predict lifetime sales everyday here, from games to console hardware.  It is kind of the point of the forums on this site.  If you think that is stupid, then why the hell are you here.  Also, stop derailing a thread about predictions, if you don't like them, then don't freaking post, it is that simple.

Ah but people tend to say i predict bla bla bla which actually means to guess using facts etc. the fact change every day for consoles xD games is a different story as you can make very well educated guesses as they often follow very basic structures. And ill post where i like thank you ^^ And im not derailing it. im simply pointing out something that is do do with the subject of the thread. im just taking a different angle. Magic isnt it :D
