Whatever makes you feel happy. All evidence points out to fightning genre being almost non existant on Wii with exception of one Mario game. And if popularity of single Mario game was enough to create huge fanbase for certain genre all Wii racing games would sell milions now wouldn't they ?

lol.  All evidence except for the stuff cited right above you (DBZ, Naruto, TatsuCap).

If we based PS2's fighter sales potential off MVC2, GGX and Death by Degrees, what do you think it'd look like?

So the only counter argument you can find are Naruto and DBZ games which sell well because of anime ?

Sorry but this list looks depresingly bad:

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=&publisher=&console=Wii&genre=Fighter&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total

compared to :

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=&publisher=&console=PS3&genre=Fighter&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=&publisher=&console=X360&genre=Fighter&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total

Hey look, Naruto and DBZ sold better on Wii than 360 or PS3.  Maybe SC and SF would have too then. ;)

Outside SSBB Wii doesn't have any AAA fighter sales, but that's because it doesn't have any AAA fighters besides SSBB.  That doesn't mean there's no inherent market for big fighters, it means it's never been tried... which, uh, kinda goes back to the crux of the thread.
