lol.  All evidence except for the stuff cited right above you (DBZ, Naruto, TatsuCap).

If we based PS2's fighter sales potential off MVC2, GGX and Death by Degrees, what do you think it'd look like?

It would look like someone didn't research, MvC2 on PS2 was pulled from shelves very shorty after release because the license with Marvel expired.   It also cost next to nothing to develop since it was literally 90% cut and paste characters from previous Capcom fighters, not to mention arcades still being much more popular back then bringing in cash.  Any arcades now are not going to use the Wii version which would require its own development.

lol, research?  Practice what you preach...

1) MVC2 was not pulled from shelves, on any platform.  Capcom stopped new shipments due the license lapsing a full year after it had released on PS2 in late 2002 (the Xbox port released a few months later in early 2003, it was delayed due to back and forth on online play).  TVC on Wii has been on shelves less time than Capcom was doing new shipments for MVC2 PS2, and MVC2 was never recalled on any platform (that's not how expired licenses work, you stop new shipments, you don't buyback inventories already out there)...

2) "Any arcades now are not going to use the Wii version which would require its own development."?  Uh, you know this is exactly what Capcom did with TVC right?

Which is precisely why noone will release big fighter for Wii.  SC is bit diffrent here but they already have assets for HD version which will likely be reused.
