VGChartz only uses like 2% of all retailers for their numbers. As that number grows it will get better. |
Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that for accurate numbers this site is not where to look and we have to wait for Charttrack, gfk etc.. to inform us regarding EU, Famitsu/Media Create for Japan and NPD for US. They are the respected trackers other then Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft.
Those thinking that Vgchartz numbers are credible are just delusional, they may be credible in the future, but that time is a long way away. Very faint indication (at best) purposes only is what Vgchartz numbers are useful for. |
ioi is close enough most weeks when compared to paid sales trackers.. that is more than enough for me to trust that these numbers are a good indication of the general trend of hardware sales, and is the only reason i continue coming to this site..
