I hate to be a downer, but I highly doubt that the PS3 version is better than the PC version.

Good to hear it's not just a quick and lazy port like certain games, though.

Since when did they say that the PS3 version was better than PC? They just said the third game would be the best yet and now that the game is truly multi-platform everyone can get a taste.

Did you not read the OP? It clearly says that the PS3 version is the best:

Mass Effect 2 PS3 review - 93% in GamesMaster
PS3 version is "the best" says mag

Saying it's the best is indicating that out of the 3 versions PC/360/PS3 it is the top choice, which it clearly is NOT. The PC has the full experience available ME1/ME2 and the best graphics out of all the versions, meanwhile the 360 version has the full experience ME1/ME2 and has roughly similar performance on ME2 compared to the PS3 version. That clearly puts the PS3 version as the least desirable option for owners of a capable PC/360/PS3. The ranking for best to not the best would definitely be #1: PC, #2: 360, and #3: PS3.

If you only have a PS3 then so be it, but to say that it is the "best" version is simply fallacy.

"Basically, if you've never played Mass Effect before, and you're lucky enough to own both a 360 and a PS3, then this is definitely the version to plump for,"- GM

Nowhere did he even mention the PC version in the quotations aside from the fact that you can play the game on the PS3/360/ PC. The only comparison was between the 360 and PS3 dude. Calm down. If you judge the PS3 and 360 versions of Mass Effect 2, I would say the PS3 version stand-alone is the version to buy as well. If we're talking the series, the PC version is the best version to own. What kills your point is that no one is talking about the PC, just the main systems as far as sales and publicity are concerned.

Now if Mass Effect 1 has decisions that can skip two into 3 then you might have a point. I don't know of such things yet though.
