Good to see something other than the Wii succeed at this. The Kinect is just the next step in this and i am sure that a few years from now, there will be another step up. The reason we should all be glad that the Kinect is successful, is that it continues to grow the overall video game market. Once you get that person that "never" plays video games to try it with Kinect/Move/Wii, it is not such a stretch for them to try some of the controller based games. After they do that, they go but a system and maybe even a few games. This results in more systems sold and more games sold to support publishers. I hate certain kinds of games, but i know that when that game sells, most of the time publishers produce multiple different kinds of games and maybe one of their other games will match my interests. Either way, its a Win for all gamers.
