Considering GT5 has been accused of privileging too much Japan in its car assortment, I'm quite surprised the Japanese welcomed it worse than expected, but this gen can really be unpredictable sometimes, I also expect some outsider to revolutionize again PC gaming world sooner or later in Heaven knows what genre... And as I maybe already wrote somewhere else, I hope GT5 success, providing attention to the whole genre for free, will help PC devs find funds easier to complete the next PC racing sims (arcade racers OTOH, if still liked enough by PC gamers, can enjoy the indirect boost from Mario Kart). |
As in consoles GT isn't seriously challanged, PC sims pushing the envelope will challagen Kaz Ya to make the game better in the next interations, i would love to see it evolving even more.
