Will DKCR outsell the entire Metroid Prime series combined?

I really hope the game goes on to sell phenomenally. By the looks of things it seems it will pass the prime series in sales. This is a good thing though as Nintendo is likely to give more freedom/money/time/staff to retro so that they can continue their flawless record of creating incredible games!
