As MGS4, God of War III, & Uncharted 2 show, these games come down in price, have holiday deals, or both, which end up pushing sales up again. There's also the inevitable Greatest Hits release, which will surely impact sales as well. The title also has only seen 5 weeks of data (or just 1 month), and already sits nearly halfway to it's general lifetime prediction of 10 million. Now things don't necessarily have to go well either, the game could still have much weaker legs than it's predecessors, the possibility is surely there. But for the time being, it's off to a great start. |
