it wont pass the gba.

Depends on how long MS supports it. Perhaps we'll have a $99 360 by then.

I think it's in MS best interest to keep supporting it. They make a killing on Live subscriptions.

it is in MS's interest but if they get a new console and people buy it and it won't be in so much interest

i atleast see them reaching 70m even if they release XBOX 720 in 2012

Something to also consider is if the next Xbox console will have backwards compatibility.

If the next Xbox it does not than they'll keep pumping out 360 units for a few years. If it does and is reasonably priced, they can kill the 360 off sooner.

70m is reasonable. 80m is my high guess.

it will surely be backward compatible

i don't think they will just kill it off,it will still be selling but very low units after 720 release

i think they will sell 10m in 2011 and then go lower than 10m in 2012 which will see the 720 release most likely then even lower in 2013 and then discontinue

so 2011 = 60m

2012 = around 66-68m

i'm not expecting any good sales after 720 release as MS doesn't have the good number of first party studios to support plus their plus their brand isn't that big outside US,UK and few other countries.This is especially necessary as they support PS2 sales of today
