And Microsoft would in a way admit that the initial version of Kinect is a half-baked concept that doesn't really work for most games. And with Kinect already being considered an improved EyeToy, adding a controller would seem like completely copying the Playstation Move concept.
So I think Microsoft is not going to release a controller for Kinect. They will instead wait until the release of the next Xbox, which I believe will ship with a Kinect-like sensor and two separated controllers for both hands, just like Wii Remote and PS Move.

Well, in fairness, Nintendo kinda did this when they put out WM .. it was like saying "our original controller wasnt as good as it could be, so here's the fix"

The Move and Kinect are going to make playing Just Dance and its ilk obsolete on that console. It's only a matter of time until the people begin to notice. Nintendo will be forced to survive with newer titles that harness the power of the Wii mote because they have no scanning technology.
