I'm surprised DK took off this quickly, though i suppose i shouldn't have been.

 

It will be interesting to see where both Retro and the Metroid franchise go from here, but my guess is a Metroid Prime 4 might appear somewhere for the next Nintendo console while the "mainline" Metroid series goes back to handhelds (but given the 3DS' capabilities, that could still lead to some full-scale gloriousness)
