I can't remember, are there big PS3 IPs for Japan in 2011? I think January is for Wii, The Last Story will prevent a big drop off.

For PS3 and Wii games scheduled for 2011 and beyond that I think could sell 300k plus... using english titles here...

PlayStation 3

  • DmC: Devil May Cry (Capcom)
  • Dynasty Warriors 7 (Tecmo Koei)
  • Final Fantasy Versus XIII (Square Enix) 1m plus
  • Metal Gear Solid Rising (Konami) 500k plus
  • Ninokuni: The White Queen of Sacred Ash (Level 5) 500k plus
  • Samurai Warriors 3 Z (Tecmo Koei)
  • Tales of Xillia (Namco)
  • The Last Guardian (SCE)
  • Yakuza: The End (SEGA) 500k plus

Wii

  • Dragon Quest X (Square Enix) 3.5m plus
  • Inazuma Eleven Strikers (Level 5)
  • Michael Jackson: The Experience (Ubisoft)
  • The Last Story (Nintendo)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Nintendo) 500k plus
  • Rhythm Heaven Wii (Nintendo) 500k plus

Actually I don't think the PS3 version of Ni No Kuni will be able to reach 500k, the DS one sold just 350k during holidays and DS has a much bigger userbase, but maybe this is an advantage for PS3, the game could push more systems, which is what I'm wondering about. Anyway looks to me like both Wii and PS3 will end up selling about the same, just some bundles or price cuts could give one a big advantage over the other IMHO.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
