Well as long as the criminal doesn't show any intent to kill you. Then you might as well not resist. It's really hard to know, I've never been in a situation where my life was put into danger, but what the police suggested was pretty basic and I've heard a lot of people who got killed after fighting back.It's probably a proven statistics that even the authority recommends not to resist unless and until you find a right opening where the probability of surviving is very high... After all Life is much more important than material possessions...
