The sales will be even better once Kinect is upgraded to 640x480. A couple non-technical friends are aware of the latency issues so I assume that other non-tech's are aware as well. Both of them are holding off until the issues are dealt with.
It seems to me that the biggest deal this christmas was Microsoft's utter failure to keep stock in ANY of the major retailers...Frig the sales figures could be millions lower as kinect was chronically out of stock for almost 4 weeks.
