Then what else is? To me this is the most fresh JRPG combat system I've seen since FFIV. Do you have any contenders?

Tales, Star Ocean - nah. Baten Kaitos - On my "ashamed I haven't played yet" list. TWEWY - TWEWY was able to take advantage of the touch screen controls, a new interface was open to it, yes TWEWY was fresh, however on the console side this is more fresh. Paper Mario - eh
