Not to be pedantic, but nearly all of the games being mentioned are either:

1)  3rd party rather than Nintendo games; or

2)  ones that have already been released in Japan.

Well, in the west I think we'll see Nintendo publish...

  • Mario Sports Mix (2011)
  • Kirby's Epic Yarn (2011 EU)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011)
  • Xenoblade (2011)
  • Rhythm Heaven Wii (2011)
  • Fatal Frame: Crimson Butterfly (2011)
  • Dragon Quest Monsters: Battle Road Victory (2011)
  • The Last Story (2011/2012)
  • Inazuma Eleven Strikers (2012)
  • Dragon Quest X (2012?)

With the exception of the Zelda game already mentioned in the original post, these games are all examples of ones either already released in Japan or which are currently only due for release in that territory.

Rhythm Heaven Wii and The Last Story are both Nintendo games and haven't released in Japan yet.  Neither's been announced for the west yet, but both are obviously coming.

They may come, but are only scheduled for a Japanese release at the moment - I really don't see them making it to the west before E3 (which was the timeframe I was focusing on in the OP).  As for the inevitability of their arrival - I'm not as confident as you.  Rhythm Heaven DS didn't seem to do very well in the west, so I wouldn't call the Wii version a shoe-in.  The Last Story does seem likely given the backing it's getting from Nintendo in Japan, but it is a JRPG and a new IP - I'd say there's a (small) chance of it staying Japan-only.
