lol.  No chance in hell, it's pretty obvious "incentives" were paid out for the exact year of exclusivity in Japan.  Hell, SCE even gave it a hardware bundle.

Microsoft likely did the same thing for Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean 4.  And same thing for Nintendo with Tales of Graces.
