Graphic violence prevalent in HD games *another rant*

I love gore and violence in fiction, both movies and games. Sometimes it can go overboard but that's mainly when it's presented in either an amateurish (some cheap monster films) or cynical manner (the Saw movies) but seldom am I put off by the high degree of violence itself.
