I could have sworm the Mayan cycles are 5125 years. Some other groups cycles were 26,000, and anothers is 104,000 which all fall onto 12/21/2012 at 11:11am.

It will systematically work it way throughout each time zone on an hourly basis. So you need to get online to inform me that I'll be d0med before it hits the U.S. east coast plz to let me know I need to get out and do something my last few hours of life. :[

Aw. I just made myself sad even thinking about that. You need to fly to the U.S. so we can at least hang out before the world ends! It'll let you live longer and we can get drunk and embrace teh end together! :D

Edit: Seriously though, didn't they discover a mistranslation in the Mayan calendar that changed the date?
