Well Game Informer recently reported that THQ has announced it will launch five new titles for the Udraw between now and March 2012, during the 2011 fiscal year. Now that would be cool enough but THQ slipped the fact that one of these titles will involve SpongeBob.
Now five titles in a fiscal year is actually more support then Nintendo themselves gave WM+ and WiiSpeak etc...etc.. now rumours have been flying that other publishers including possibly even Nintendo may consider making software for Udraw. But if they don't is SpongeBob enough to keep Udraw selling through 2011?
Sponge Bob titles on the Wii have at times reached nearly 500k, while the lowest selling title reached 150k. Could SpongeBob potentially be a killer app? Could SpongeBob shift much hardware? Or do those remaining four titles have to be very good to keep the Udraw alive? Or do you think another publisher will announce software for Udraw that will help keep the sales momentum going throughout the 2011 fiscal year?
