OT: I'm pretty sure Nintendo will be looking for a way to continue Wii sales once their future console is eventually released into the world. They have created two huge new and successful brands with the DS and Wii, also Iwata has commented on strategies they have to keep the DS alive once the 3DS is released. So I still think Wii overtaking the PS2 in the long-run is possible.

Well, obviously, :P, but those posters had a higher "attach rate", as we might say, in the thread, as well. 40 posters made 40 million posts in that thread, 10 people made 10 posts in this thread, :P. Also, this forum has more Nintenfans than MS fans, too, yet more people celebrate great numbers for the 360.

Oh, and as long as Nintendo doesn't prematurely kill off the Wii, I'd say overtaking the PS2 is easily possible.

it is because we celebrate too much i mean first it beat the SNES and then NES and then the GBA plus every 10 million we celebrate

the others have to wait soo long to celebrate something that when they do celebrate they CELEVRATE! :P it is like WOW for them while it is like "oh it did, oh well yay!!" for us :) so let us move on to the big celebration that is the 100 :D end of 2011!
