I don't think that it has really inspired any interest in the JRPG genre here. I mean, FF's been huge here for a while there now, but that didn't make much of a difference - DQ and other JRPG's continually failed in that region. Whilst this could be great for DQ (and it could finally end up getting the 10m sales it deserves worldwide, :P), I doubt that this will make future JRPGs any better received here.
