I think the obvious difference here I think is that Reach is directly competing with one of the biggest releases this year (Black Ops), while GT5 is competing with... uh... maybe last year's Forza 3 and NFS Shift? For Halo as a series, GT is easily competition. Look at how much the PS1 and PS2 games sold.
But this gen, yeah, the competition is with COD.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
