I agree with the (satirical?) blogger about one thing. A lot of smaller titles don't get the attention they deserve because well-known titles with big ad budgets have the exposure and brand recognition that tend to eclipse efforts of smaller developers.
Even among gamers here who are better informed of releases, downloadable and independent games take the backburner as fans discuss the latest generic rpg or fps.
