Man Nintendo is doing good this gen. If Nintendo can maintain sales till 2013-14 I could see Wii topping PS2. Considering Nintendo's next console will likely come in 2012, that means Nintendo just has to support the platform for another two years or so.
Plus Nintendo still has two price cuts left. 150$-100$ heck if Nintendo wants they can split the price cut up a bit maybe drop it by 25$ every year for the next four years. As EAGames says at 99$ the Wii sales will explode, so just keep gradually lowering price until you reach that and whoola.
