Final Fantasy XII Ultimate Hits re-release only sold 130K on PS2 Life To Date (so its first week was probably 80K) and it added a whole new job system. I would say even 30K for this game is lucky considering it had no additional content and it launches on a dead platform in Japan. They should have done a PS3 re-release too, it would've got over 100K then.

When the PS3 original can be had for 800 yen new, there's pretty much no way an International rerelease with no new content would come anywhere close to 100k, regardless of platform.
Personally, I think Kitase should stuffed the canceled DLC on the disc(s) for the International release, and done PS3 & 360 simultaneous. That's the only way it'd have done over 100k, and probably the only way FFXIII overall would break 2m.

as it is known the tactic of timed exclusivity proved profitable well taking Tales for example both vesperia and graces rereleases were quite profitable on PS3 and SO4 International performed nice on ps3 with not having something more than FFXIII international I think they should havve made better marketing for this version and iti is a MUST PRICE HOLIDAYS

SO4 PS3 had new (anime!) menus, a rebalanced battle system, reworked item synthesis system and improved visuals, which while not much, still makes it more of an upgrade than FFXIII 360. And it kinda bombed on PS3, selling less than the 360 original.
For this game to sell it needed extra content and it didn't get that (unlike every previous International FF release). I guess Kitase is saving everything for FFXIII-2...
