jlauro, those are just price-drops. Player's Choice titles are like the PlayStation Greatest Hits and X Box Platinum games. Player's Choice is for titles that sell well, it extends their shelf life(theoretically at least) by offering popular titles at a discount price. I've saw some places, like a local Best Buy, set aside a sizable amount of shelf space for Platinum and Greatest Hits titles. In my mind having a GH/Platinum/PC line-up is a good way to move software if things like that can happen. This is different than shovelware like Far Cry sitting on shelves and not selling, thus requiring a price-drop.
Nintendo's launch line-up continues to sell well even a year later, so they may not need to launch the PC line-up yet. Still, it would be nice if they would throw third party's a bone and start the PC line-up with some games like Red Steel and Sonic.
